Dr Brigid Carroll is a founding member of the New Zealand Leadership Institute. In her role as NZLI Director of Research she leads and supports research activities and is co-architect for leadership programme design and delivery. She is also an Associate Professor in the Department of Management and International Business at the University of Auckland Business School where her focus is on organisation studies in leadership and management, and teaching Critical & Creative Thinking.
Recently Brigid led a research and development project focusing on leadership for a collaborative leadership initiative. Amongst the numerous internationally published books and articles in high-ranking journals, new books she has co-authored include Responsible Leadership: Realism and Romanticism and Leadership: Contemporary Critical Perspectives.
Brigid’s qualifications include Master of Arts, Graduate Diploma of Secondary Education, MBA from Fordham University in New York and a PhD in Management and Employment Relations from the University of Auckland.
